Charity Mountain Climb for Turkey & Syria

The student and staff community here at Putteridge High School have been saddened by the recent devastating earthquakes which have taken place in Turkey and Syria. A group of staff have committed to climbing Scafell Pike in the Lake District on Friday 14th April 2023.

All proceeds donated will go directly to our chosen charity - Disaster Emergency Committee, who work with local partners in the affected regions to scale up their response and help more people affected. Members of our dedicated Pastoral Team and History Department will work together along with Bailey the dog to navigate the paths leading to the summit.

The hiking team consists of Mr Pallett, Miss Bartoletti, Miss Hayes, Mrs Barnett and Miss Kelly. If you would like to help towards this meaningful cause please kindly donate via our Just Giving page linked below.
