David Graham
David is an established educational leader with a deep commitment to providing high-quality experiences for students in the Luton community.
Born and raised in North London, David began his teaching career in 1992. After a significant 14-year tenure as Deputy Headteacher across two different schools, David brought an inclusive and ambitious philosophy to Putteridge High School.
For over a decade, David has proudly served as Headteacher, driving significant school improvement and fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment. A key achievement under his leadership was the successful oversight of a new, state-of-the-art school building, ensuring Putteridge High School provides every student with facilities that reflect an outstanding educational setting.
David is passionately dedicated to ensuring that every child in the local area receives a rich, high-quality education. This commitment extends beyond core academics, emphasising the crucial value of both creative subjects and a vibrant, holistic school life. David actively collaborates with other Trust Headteachers on school improvement initiatives, ensuring Putteridge High School remains at the absolute forefront of educational best practice.

Kirsten SeniorDeputy Headteacher
Kirsten Senior
Kirsten brings eighteen years of committed service within the Trust to her current role as Deputy Headteacher for Quality of Education at Putteridge High School. A specialist teacher of Religious Education and Citizenship, Kirsten has been an integral part of the leadership team for eight years. She joined the school as an Assistant Headteacher with a focus on Teaching and Learning, establishing foundational excellence in pedagogical practice across the school.
Kirsten currently provides strategic oversight of the entire Quality of Education framework. Her core responsibilities include leading curriculum design, ensuring the highest standards of teaching and assessment, and driving continuous professional development. Kirsten is dedicated to fostering an environment where outstanding teaching translates into exceptional student outcomes, ensuring every student at Putteridge High School benefits from a rich, rigorous, and rewarding educational experience.

Khalid AliAssistant Headteacher
Khalid Ali
Khalid joined Putteridge High School in January 2022, bringing twelve years of experience teaching Mathematics and a decade leading Maths departments in local secondary schools, where he built high-performing teams and achieved some of the best student outcomes in Luton.
Since joining Putteridge High School, Khalid's role has rapidly evolved from contributing to the Quality of Education team including overseeing marking, feedback, and assessments to now leading on standards and outcomes across the entire school. He specializes in rigorous whole-school performance analysis and data, with a steadfast focus on raising student outcomes and ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve at the highest level.
A proud Lutonian who lives locally, Khalid is deeply invested in the community he serves, driving a culture of high standards across Putteridge High School and championing the conviction that every student deserves the chance to succeed.

Noureddine MlaouhiAssistant Headteacher
Noureddine Mlaouhi
Noureddine is a highly dedicated educational leader with over 20 years of experience, currently serving as Assistant Headteacher for Quality of Education at Putteridge High School. Driven by a commitment to academic excellence, his focus is on enhancing comprehensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) delivery and fostering impactful learning environments. Noureddine's expertise extends to managing Learning Quality Assurance processes while directly supporting staff effectiveness and subject standards within English, MFL, and Literacy initiatives.
Previously, Noureddine excelled as an Assistant Headteacher responsible for developing robust Teaching & Learning, CPD, and Appraisal systems in other local schools. Noureddine has a genuine passion and commitment for developing staff through coaching, serving as the lead instructional coach for National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) and promoting evidence-based pedagogical practice. As a former Head of English & Standards Lead, Noureddine ensures his strategic focus is not just on systems, but on unlocking exceptional outcomes and successful life chances for every student.

Laura BartolettiAssistant Headteacher - Pastoral & Welfare
Laura Bartoletti
Laura Bartoletti is a cornerstone of the Senior Leadership Team, bringing 12 years of service to Putteridge High School, where she holds strategic responsibility for Behaviour and Attendance. She is also a specialist teacher of Science.
Under her formidable leadership, Putteridge High School has been rated Outstanding for behaviour and recognized by the DfE as a Centre of Excellence for attendance. Laura's work is driven by a passion for pastoral care and a commitment to creating a positive learning culture that equips students with vital social skills.
Her expertise extends nationally: she has delivered at Westminster Education Forum conferences, contributed to national policy on vulnerable students, and authored case studies published by the Department for Education's Attendance Toolkit. Laura ensures Putteridge is an inclusive environment that prioritises vulnerable students, maintaining an exceptional record that has earned the school recognition as the top school in Bedfordshire for attendance.

Kevin AshbyAssistant Headteacher
Kevin Ashby
Kevin is a highly experienced and impactful Assistant Headteacher who joined Putteridge High School in September 2018. Over his 17 years in education, Kevin has demonstrated a deep commitment to Luton's secondary schools, rising through significant leadership roles as both a Head of Department and a Head of Year.
A key member of the Senior Leadership Team, he spearheads areas critical to whole-school effectiveness, specialising in Data and Assessment, curriculum design, timetabling, and staffing management. His practical expertise is further cemented by a Master's degree in Education, ensuring his strategic leadership is academically informed and results-driven.
Kevin is a proud Lutonian and is dedicated to ensuring every student is supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Umar FarukAssistant Headteacher & DSL
Umar Faruk
Born and raised in Luton, Umar maintains a deep-seated commitment to serving the local community where he has gained over thirteen years of diverse teaching experience across Further Education and Secondary settings. He began his career at Luton Sixth Form College before joining the Chiltern Learning Trust in 2017. Throughout his career, he has consistently specialised in driving whole-school outcomes, developing successful departments, and enhancing the personal development provision for students.
Since rejoining Putteridge High's Senior Leadership Team in 2025, Umar has taken on key strategic roles, currently leading on student leadership and student voice, overseeing quality assurance for vocational qualifications, and serving as both the Strategic Safeguarding Lead and Senior Mental Health Lead. A specialist in Business Studies across Key Stages 3 to 5, his dedication extends beyond the school gate: he actively volunteers for various charitable organisations and holds the position of Chair of Governors at a local primary school, reinforcing his commitment to local education.

Rohan Cruise
Rohan serves as the Assistant Headteacher for Personal Development, a leadership role he executes with deep commitment and fervour, ensuring the value of each child's educational needs is paramount. His focus is on continuously developing and implementing academic programmes that promote challenge, aspiration, and high expectations across the school.
As an experienced Mathematician, Rohan is equally dedicated to making the subject accessible and fostering genuine engagement among students, replacing hesitancy with enthusiasm. His strategic goal is to develop students' skills, knowledge, and behaviours to become lifelong learners, underpinned by a constant drive for best practice to achieve the best outcome for every student.

Emma Southerington
Emma is a dedicated and highly experienced educational leader, bringing 13 years of teaching expertise and 12 years successfully leading Maths departments, including her current tenure at Putteridge High School and previously at Nene Park Academy in Peterborough.
Holding a First Class degree in Mathematics, Emma has been instrumental in raising standards at Putteridge by developing the Maths curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment principles to a high standard, while also supporting school-wide numeracy. Her commitment to educational quality extends to serving as an experienced examiner and a dedicated mentor for new teachers and trainees. She has led key CPD on vital areas such as Assessment for Learning (AfL) and data-driven decisions.

Scott Stanyer
Scott is a long-standing and highly dedicated member of the Putteridge High School community, holding a 25-year tenure with the school and a specialism in Art. Scott's commitment extends beyond the classroom, where he passionately champions student confidence and equality, driven by the goal of raising standards for all. Scott is renowned for providing invaluable experiences outside the classroom, leading initiatives focused on citizenship and the holistic character building of students, ensuring they develop skills and perspectives that extend beyond the academic curriculum.
Scott plays a key role in developing students' personal well-being and development and overseeing the whole-school character journey. Scott is committed to ensuring every student is supported, inspired, and empowered to realize their fullest potential.

Hannah HayesAssociate Assistant Headteacher & SENCO
Hannah Hayes
Starting her teaching career in Luton, Hannah later joined Putteridge High School in 2020 as Head of Year and a Teacher of PE. Her dedication to the school community led to her promotion to Associate Assistant Headteacher in 2024. In this capacity, she now strategically oversees special educational needs (SEN) and holds responsibility for looked after children (LAC). Hannah is passionate about inclusion, working tirelessly to ensure school is accessible for all students. A lifelong advocate for sports, she continues to teach PE and passionately coaches the Netball teams, guiding them through fixtures and competitions.

Victoria Hamilton-ReayAssociate Assistant Headteacher
Victoria Hamilton-Reay
Victoria is an exceptional educational leader whose career is defined by her formidable commitment to driving excellence in Teaching and Learning and delivering ambitious curriculum outcomes. Since joining Putteridge High School in 2011, she has consistently focused on raising standards, building on her experience as both a Head of English and a Lead Practitioner at Ashcroft High School.
Now serving as an Associate Assistant Head Teacher, Victoria's strategic responsibilities are centered on ensuring the effective delivery of the whole-school curriculum and strongly supporting staff Continuing Professional Development (CPD). She is instrumental in leading key initiatives that directly enhance student performance and life skills, championing Oracy and Reading school-wide. Crucially, she is responsible for targeted attainment, meticulously organising and overseeing bespoke intervention programmes for Year 11 students and mentoring programmes specifically designed to maximise student attainment and secure successful results.
