As a part of National Enterprise Week, we gave our budding young entrepreneurs in Year 10 the opportunity to demonstrate their entrepreneurial flair.
They fundraised for three local charities; Luton Foodbank, Keech Hospice and Friends of Bright Eyes (FOBE). The three Year 10 Business classes sold a range of items in the hall, from cakes to crackers, on Thursday 16th November.
This was a completely pupil led initiative where they invested their own time and money into making the stalls event such a huge success. The total raised was a fantastic £550 which will be split amongst the charities. Each class will be presenting a cheque, in assembly, to their respective charities and this will take place within the next two weeks.
Mr Faruk would like to thank all the pupils and staff for contributing and supporting the event. The pupils were absolutely fantastic throughout the day and their hard earned money will make a huge difference to those in need.
