At Putteridge High School we have a very strong pastoral system. The school is divided into four houses, each of which has a pastoral leader. The pastoral leaders are key members of staff who are, in general, the first point of contact for parents and carers.
They are a dedicated team whose primary role revolves around the well-being and care of all of our students, focussing mainly on those within their respective houses. They are closely involved with the school’s transition process, ensuring that all new students settle in well and in particular, those who transfer from their primary schools in September.
The pastoral leaders involve themselves in many aspects of school life, including supporting students with their personal development, effectively mentoring those in need and to actively support and encourage all of our students to realise their potential whilst at Putteridge High.
